A New York City Bronx public High School Academic, Career, and Essential Skills program (ACES) classroom teacher creates and implements a successful Work-Based Learning Initiative. Born out of a special educator’s desire to provide job opportunities for her 10th, 11th and 12th grade high school students in 2017, 720Connects has grown to provide workforce development opportunities for intellectual disabled adults in Alabama, Delaware, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
